The Tran device lost the connection to the processor (DialTran™. DataTran™, DialLink™). This can usually be attributed to an unstable phone line. There may be noise, jitter, and or static on the phone line causing attenuation.
User should check to see if a digital line is being used which is usually the culprit when this error occurs. VOIP is fine for conversations, but not ideal for data transmission.
We recommend to use a POTS line (Plain old telephone service) because our devices communicate via an analog signal
In the event a POTS line is unavailable, attempt to add a filter to an existing phone line.
