Further, we believe that resellers should be compensated for the value they provide to the bank card acquirers in promoting and supporting the acquirers’ payment services. To that extent, Datacap implements programs that enable only authorized resellers of Datacap’s software partners’ ECR/POS systems to purchase our products for resale to their end-user customers, thereby protecting those dealers from price-cutting that is normally associated with our competitors’ business models that include selling to anyone that will pay.
In addition, the usage programs that we have put together with cooperating bank card acquirers require that our products be delivered through an authorized reseller, assuring the dealer that they will be compensated fairly for their value-added services.
