SVS / GCS GIFTePay Certified

Chalfont, PA - Datacap Systems is pleased to announce certification and availability of GIFTePay high speed IP gift card interface to SVS (Stored Value Systems) and GCS (Gift Card Solutions). GIFTePay users can now easily access SVS and GCS services with fast, 2-4 second IP gift card transactions. With the rapid growth and broad use gift card programs, popular POS/ECR systems have added gift card functionality. SVS/GCS’s dominant market position in multiple segments, relationships with several leading chains, and leadership in gift card program development and marketing makes this an important addition to the GIFTePay interfaces. This new SVS/GCS interface is in addition to the SVS/GCS DataTran and IPTran interfaces, which have been available and very popular for the past two years.

Gift cards are proven to increase retailer traffic and average ticket, while also providing new revenue and promotional opportunities, all while reducing ‘gift and loyalty program’ expenses. Strong benefits to consumers and retailers make gift card a very desirable feature. Fast, IP-based gift card transactions enhance customer service and retail store efficiency.
